Malereksperten AS

Malereksperten is an Oslo-based painting company known for high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The company undertakes both private and high-profile commercial projects, including work for established clients such as the iconic The Thief hotel in Oslo.

The Situation

Malereksperten AS had no digital presence.

The company operated entirely through reputation, long-standing relationships, and contractor networks. While this model worked well, the absence of a website made it difficult to present the company professionally when needed. That meant whether to partners, clients, or collaborators.

The goal was not lead generation.

The goal was representation.

The website needed to function as a clear, credible expression of the company’s standards and seriousness, without introducing unnecessary complexity or marketing noise.

My Role

I worked as the strategic and digital lead for the company’s first digital presence.

My role included positioning, messaging, website structure, and design and development. I collaborated with a graphic designer to create a complete visual identity: logo, color palette, and typography by making sure the brand reflected the same precision and care found in the company’s physical work.

The focus throughout was restraint: building only what was necessary, and building it well.

The Work

The work centered on clarity and credibility.

We developed a simple, confident structure that presented the company, its services, and selected completed projects without exaggeration. Photography from real projects was used to ground the site in actual work rather than abstraction.

In addition to the website, I supported the company by:

  • Creating a Google Business Profile

  • Setting up professional social media business accounts

  • Establishing a basic but correct digital foundation for future visibility

The site was launched as a finished, durable presence rather than an evolving marketing platform.

What Changed

Malereksperten AS gained a professional digital identity.

The company now has a clear point of reference that reflects its standards, supports trust, and signals seriousness when shared with clients or partners. The website functions as a digital business card. To present it when needed, without demanding attention.

Outcome

Today, the website serves as a quiet but credible representation of the company.

It reinforces trust, supports professional communication, and reflects the quality of work delivered offline. The site does not chase growth or attention, it holds position.
