Digital presence and structural clarity for a family-run construction company.

Oslo Byggrehab AS

An established total contractor based in Oslo, delivering rehabilitation and construction projects across residential and commercial buildings. The work focused on modernising their digital presence while preserving the seriousness and credibility of the company.

The Situation

Oslo Byggrehab AS had an existing business, reputation, and operational maturity.

What they lacked was a digital presence that reflected that reality.

The company wanted:

  • A modern website that communicated trust and professionalism

  • A clearer articulation of what they do and how they position themselves

  • Visual and structural coherence with Oslo Bad & Flis AS, without collapsing the two identities into one

At the same time, there was uncertainty around brand identity, particularly the logo. Multiple redesign attempts did not result in a final decision.

The challenge was not to perfect everything before moving forward, but to create clarity and coherence without waiting for absolute resolution.

My Role

I worked as strategic and digital partner across positioning, structure, and execution.

My role included:

  • Defining a clear core positioning for Oslo Byggrehab AS as a totalentreprenør

  • Structuring services around a primary offering, rather than presenting everything equally

  • Designing and developing the website

  • Establishing a shared visual language with Oslo Bad & Flis AS through colour, typography, and tone

  • Advising on how the two companies should relate digitally, including clear pathways to the bathroom specialist where relevant

Rather than forcing a premature logo decision, we chose a restrained solution that allowed the work to move forward.

The Work

The work focused on clarity and restraint.

We:

  • Clarified Oslo Byggrehab AS’ role as a total contractor with a long-term perspective

  • Built a website that prioritised structure, legibility, and confidence over decoration

  • Introduced a typographic logotype solution using the company name and new type system, allowing the site to launch without waiting on unresolved branding decisions

  • Connected Oslo Byggrehab AS and Oslo Bad & Flis AS through complementary visual systems, while preserving distinct identities

  • Created space to present completed projects, services, and company values clearly

Ongoing work includes maintenance, SEO improvements, and gradual enrichment of project content as new material becomes available.

What Changed

Oslo Byggrehab AS moved from having an outdated digital presence to a coherent, modern platform that reflects how the company actually operates.

The website now:

  • Signals seriousness and professionalism

  • Clearly communicates what the company stands for and what it prioritises

  • Supports long-term credibility rather than short-term marketing tactics

  • Functions as a stable foundation, even as branding decisions continue to evolve

Progress was achieved by moving forward deliberately, not by waiting for everything to be resolved upfront.

Outcome

The result is a durable digital presence that supports the company’s reputation and relationships.

It demonstrates how clarity, structure, and restraint can create momentum even in the absence of perfect conditions.

The site continues to evolve alongside the business.
